About Cara 2022
This is Cara.
Cara has spent the last fifteen years designing and art directing critically acclaimed children's books. She counts the Caldecott Medal-winning The Undefeated by Kwame Alexander and Kadir Nelson, New York Times bestselling The Quiet Book, and How to Be a Good Creature by National Book Award finalist Sy Montgomery among her favorite projects. Cara lives in Washington, D.C. with her inventor husband, Jason, and picture-book-tester-outer son, Wilder.
